Our Story

My wife Donna and I (Allen) had a dream of creating a beautiful place for people to get married and be able to afford their special day. We have lived in the local area for over 30 years and raised all three of our kids here, and now have the blessing of three grandkids.

We have always been in the business of serving people, either literally in business, by vocation, and in our everyday life, and look for moments in each day to make someone’s day better. Jubilee Farm is an extension of that passion.

Donna is a little country, well maybe a little more than little, and I’m straight out of the burbs. Even though most of our life together has been suburb oriented, Donna has always wanted open space with room to run, and animals and gardens…and someone to maintain it - that would be me.

The credit for Jubilee Farm goes to Donna and God. I didn’t want to take on such a massive undertaking at 56 years old, but Donna was locked in. We found our property in 2019, and through nothing less than miraculous intervention, we purchased it. The last four years have been relentless, full of hard work, vision, mistakes, and the occasional “put your dukes up” moments with each other.

But we kept the vision in front of us, worked through the hurdles and barriers, and finally this year, 2024, we opened Jubilee Farm wedding and event venue. We live on the property, tend to our 40+ chickens that Donna loves, as well as keeping our nearly 5 acres of land maintained and ready for you. Next year we’ll be welcoming some new farm animals to the property.

We remember what it was like to get married 40 years ago, the cost, the stress, the planning, etc. Whew, experiencing a little PTSD just writing this. Our goal is to provide you with as stress free a wedding as possible, in a beautiful country, rural setting, that is close in and easily accessible, and as affordable as we can make it. Your memories are also our memories here on the farm.
